Business Support

We chose to work with Platform For Life because of the charity, its purpose and what it provides to people in need within communities that we have close connections with. It was easy for us to help and we wish to help out more in future.

Business Support

We are completely reliant on financial support through a range of income streams to continue and grow the work we do. Business support is a really important income stream for us. We always feel humbled when local, regional and even national businesses choose to support us, because we know that it isn’t just charities who have struggled in the current economic climate. We love building friendships and partnerships with our business supporters, because it isn’t just about raising funds for Platform For Life, we know that raising awareness of the work we do with businesses and their employees, will also raise awareness of the important topic of mental health in the workplace, and that is so important.

If you, as a business, are considering supporting Platform For Life, take a look at our Client stories and feedback and see why your support is so important for us.

How can your business help us support families struggling with poor mental health in Chester?

Fundraising

Fundraising as a business can be great fun, and a really positive way to bring your team together. Fundraisers can also be a fantastic way to raise awareness within your team of important issues they may not be aware of or may be struggling with themselves but scared to talk about. In addition, fundraisers can also be a way to enable team members to gain new skills or reveal skills you never knew they had. You could hold an all-team one-off fundraising activity, like climbing Snowden, or holding a gigantic coffee morning, arrange a come to work in fancy dress day, or maybe even hold a masquerade ball and involve your sub-contractors and suppliers too. Alternatively, you could choose to hold a number of smaller fundraisers.

Business Fundraising Partnerships

Choose Platform For Life as your charity of the year

Selecting Platform For Life as your chosen charity of the year is an amazing way to support us. How you choose to support us with fundraising during that year could vary hugely, depending on your sector, and the size and nature of your business.

For example, if your business is in food service, you may choose to select a favourite dish from your menu, donate a £1 to Platform For Life every time that dish is ordered, include information about Platform For Life on your menu, or have collection tubs on your bar. If you are a retailer, you might want to have collection tubs in your shop and display information about Platform For Life. If on the other hand, your business isn’t customer facing, you may have a number of team or online fundraisers or events. The choice is yours.

If you would like to choose Platform For Life as your charity of the year, please do let us know. We would like to work with you, give you any support you might need, and most of all show you our appreciation for kindly choosing to support us.

Support a specific project or function of Platform For Life

As a business you may want to provide longer term tailored support linked with a specific project close to your heart, or a function of our charity that aligns with your skill set. If you are an organisation in the construction industry whose main business is house building, you might be interested in providing funding towards a project supporting the mental health of parents/carers of families at risk of homelessness to improve their life chances. If you are a computer retailer, you might like to support Platform For Life with the donation of IT equipment. If you are interested in providing more tailored support, contact us and we will be more than happy to discuss your idea further.
